| The LTV Live Web service requires a fast broadband Internet connection. If you don’t have a minimum of 500kbps-speed connection or your provider’s network presents problems, it is possible that you may encounter viewing difficulties. |

| Unfortunately, what you are most likely experiencing is "network congestion". This occurs when
there is not enough bandwidth to support the stream you are trying to watch and is usually caused by too many people using a network (LAN,
ISP, Broadband). You can get "network congestion" in both narrow and broadband environments. Unless you have access to an alternate way of
connecting to the Internet (e.g. another ISP, etc), there is not a lot that can be done. However, the situation is usually temporary. |

In the not-so-distant past, Internet users had to download
audio or video files first and then watch them. Media files are typically very large and those with standard dial-up Internet connection
would wait hours for files to download.
With streaming media service, the media files are first encoded or digitized. Encoded files
are then uploaded to multiple servers. When the user plays a video or listens to an audio file, a small part of the file is downloaded and
then the file is "streamed" or delivered to the user as he or she is watching or listening.
We offer LTV Live Web media service is
a live event - which means it can only be viewed during the actual broadcast time. |

There are a number of factors that could be stopping your player from playing. Check the following:
Make sure your computer has sound and video cards and that they are installed properly.
Do you have Windows Media Player? Is your Windows Media Player version 10 or higher? If not download the latest Windows Media Player now! (See Media Player above for details).
Are you connected to the Internet? You need to be connected to the Internet with a minimum of 500kbits/s-speed connection in order to view Video.
Try clearing your cache. Your computer keeps copies of web pages that you visit in order to speed up the loading process. However, sometimes this process can hinder the viewing of streaming video. To solve this potential problem remember to clear your cache before trying to watch streaming video.
If you are attempting to watch this video on a LAN system especially in a corporate or institutional environment, you may be encountering FIREWALL issues. A Firewall is designed to protect a LAN system and keep out unwanted visitors and undesirable programming. Often video (and sometimes audio) content is prevented by the Firewall from entering the LAN. The Firewall parameters are determined by your network or security administrator who filters the type of information on the Internet for viewing inside the firewall. One simple solution is to view the stream outside your corporate LAN environment either on a dial-up modem or at home. If that is not possible, talk to your LAN administrator to see if a patch can be made in the firewall to allow viewing of the stream. |

Downloading:
Your computer saves the entire file to you hard drive. Often files will begin playback before it is finished saving, but you cannot fast
forward beyond what is on your hard drive.
Streaming: The file is not saved to your hard drive and plays back in 'real
time' as it is received. Some streaming formats support multiple bit rates allowing the server to adjust the stream for the viewers
connection speed.
